The work involved the complete replacement of the main deck and the side walkways. The preliminary stage included a laser-scanner survey of the entire deck, needed to reproduce the existing geometry and the deformations accumulated over years of sailing. The existing structures were dismantled while preserving the integrity of the substrate, which after inspection required only localised repairs. The planks were made from certified natural teak, CNC-machined from the digital model.
